Hard Candy in the abstract - Sugar has the property of forming a type of noncrystalline glass that forms the basis of hard candy products. Sugar and water are boiled until the concentration of the solution reaches a high level, and supersaturation persists upon cooling. But these delightfully colored candies are made to hang on your wall, maybe even in the kitchen.
