Sweet Arrow Lake – Pine Grove, Pennsylvania
One never knows when you will accidently find a great setting for a photograph.
Driving down Sweet Arrow Lake road early one morning – The sun was just peaking over the mountain and there was a fisherman in his boat. The clouds were reflecting in the water and there was an early morning mist. I just love finding a scene like this one.
Creating images that inspire insightful dialogue among viewers is my objective. A drawing, painting, print or any art should awaken reminiscence of one's past or inquisitiveness of places and things of interest or beauty. The majesty of an eagle soaring high above mountain tops or the delicate beauty of a flower nourished by nature can inspire a feeling of knowing life is unfolding as it should. I was raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania where my family has lived for generations. A child of hard working parents (as most of us were) I worked various jobs and professions while earning a college degree. David, you have three versions of this haunted beautiful image, the sepia effect is an outstanding, in reality I can't tell it's better than the others, but each one has it's own attraction that makes it look like genuine new image..V+F)++++
