Remembering My Dad Autumn Walk
When all the hustle and bustle of the day with our family and work is over and I have a moment to sit quietly and relax I think of my dad.
So many years ago he would take me for walks in the woods. I remember the fall colors and leaves dropping to the ground. I remember his strong hand gently holding mine and guiding me on the path. When there was a puddle or mud I remember him picking me up and holding me until the path was clear again. Those years were the times in life I felt the safest and most secure.
Thank you Dad, for giving me those memories and secure feelings, I should have told you that I love you much more often than I did. Just so you know Dad – I Love You.
